The island has no hotel and no campsite. What it has is private houses that are let out, and there are only a few. Here are the ones you can book.

The list below is the island's rentable accommodation as far as I know of it. If you let out a place on Timrarö and are missing here, get in touch and you will be added. Prices and terms are set by each host and are shown wherever the booking is handled.

This is my own house. I spell that out, because a guide that quietly advertises its own rental is not worth trusting.

Worth knowing

Before you book

  • Factor in the journey. The island can only be reached by boat, and on many sailings the scheduled boat stops only if you have requested it in advance. Plan the journey home at the same time as the journey out.
  • There is no shop on the island. Do your shopping on the mainland or on Ljusterö before you cross. The nearest groceries are at Linanäs.
  • Check the season. Boat services are considerably sparser outside the summer, and the winter service is unclear. Confirm how you will get here before you book the accommodation.
